Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Intern

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist intern (MFT-I) who is committed to helping couples and families heal through life’s hardest moments. My experience in working in the early childhood field alongside families and couples for 11 years has laid the foundation for my work with relationships today. I am the owner of Transcendence Therapy by Michael Arreygue, PLLC.
Master of Arts in Counseling
August 2019- May 2022
I earned a Master of Arts in Counseling for Marriage, Family, and Couples from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2022. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Sociology in December 2018. In my studies, I have focused on trauma, grief and loss, relational issues, intersectionality, diversity, and existential work.

I taught multiple courses at the University of Nevada, Reno that related to human development, family studies, diversity and inclusion, and hands-on practicums. These courses included HDFS 436: Family Interaction, HDFS 438: Children and Families in a Multi-ethnic Society, HDFS 201: Lifespan Development, and HDFS 231: Practicum with Children and Families.
